Rijeka Christmas Activity November 29th

We had the opportunity to decorate our Chapel as an activity on November 29th.  Lots of members came and helped decorate.  It was wonderful being with members and missionaries, especially since our time was drawing so close.  We are literally days from leaving our mission, dear missionaries and an experience we have treasured.

Our last Sunday was December 1st.  It was special in that many people where there, Wylupeks, Vanja, Zdravko, Ante and family, Ivan Hachi, Dajana and Elena, Jadranka, Gabrijela, Andrea (our non-member friend came), Marija, Ezekjel, Katarina, Živana, Dejan and others I can’t think of.

The biggest highlight came as the Spirit spoke strongly and loudly to my heart, as I saw Gabrijela, Zdravko, Andrea there, that He is pleased with what we have done as missionaries and the feeling that we have loved the people and done what we could to bless the people of the Mission.   

They have loved the feeling we have been able to bring and have in the Sacrament meetings.  At the end of the Sacrament meeting everyone wanted to line up and take pictures with us.  It took an hour or so for everyone to finally leave, but it was glorious as we had the opportunity to tell everyone we love them and God loves them. 

Truth be told, I think they have really absolutely adored Susan and the genuine love she shows people.  Time and time again, she would look them in their eyes, and express her love to them and that they are good people.  It was as if Heavenly Father was speaking to their heart. 

After Church we took the missionaries up to Trsat for a last look and then to Center for a last look at Center.  It was the last time that 5 out of 6 of us would be able to be together at these sites.  It was wonderful also that Ivan and Dajana and their daughter joined us in Center.
