Our Rijeka Branch members were very excited about a young great man being baptized December 15th. It's been a year since the last baptism in the city of Rijeka. We had 22 people at the baptism with two members giving talks and a member baptizing him. It was an amazing show of support for this brand new member of the Church. In Branch council we had discussed and planned the baptism and our missionaries put lots of effort into making everything work out well.
Unfortunately I can't post any photos of branch members but I want to record this because it meant a lot to our branch members and us. When cleaning up we discovered the small pump to drain the portable font was broken so the 7 of us missionaries had a assembly line and drained the font by hand! Tiring but fun memories!
