Just like any Thanksgiving celebration we cooked twice as much food as we needed. We found fresh turkey breasts at the European Costco and Perry made delicious Turkey in a crock pot. We had many of the traditional foods-cornbread sausage stuffing, mashing potatoes and gravy, green beans, rolls and 2 pies. Pecan Squash soufflé became Hazelnut squash soufflé since they don't import Texas pecans I guess. We invited our four great missionaries and Elder Koncurat and Elder Thygerson from Zadar.
Perry shared a Thanksgiving thought and we all shared what we're most thankful for and afterwards played Code Names.
After the missionaries left we had fun talking with all of our kids and most of our grandkids and Perry's mom, Dad and Diane and Wendy and Kurt! It was wonderful connecting with most of our family!
