Sister Campbell and Sister Livingston are the mission media sisters and spend about 1-2 hours each day managing the 5 Church Facebook pages and the 5 English Conversation Group Facebook pages. It's a lot of fun and responsibility. They do this in addition to their normal missionary activities. We work with them closely to produce content--articles, memes, etc. And we have grown to love them. Sister Campbell will be leaving in December so we planned a fun P-day to beautiful Slovenia and met up with Sister Jennings and Sister Baker and then with all of the Ljubljana District for dinner.
Today's weather was perfect and added to the fun. We met in Bohinj at the lake. We then drove to the base of the Vogel ski center and rode the tram ride up to the Ski lodge 1533 meters in 4 minutes. We ate our packed lunch of sandwiches and cookies in the ski lodge and then took photos outside in the cold wind.
The hike to the waterfall was a fun uphill hike and a beautiful photo opportunity. Then an hour drive back to Ljubljana and we met all of the missionaries in Slovenia's beautiful capital city Ljubljana and we took them out to dinner. The old town area is beautiful with spacious main streets for only walking and biking.
We had dinner at a restaurant specializing in Slovene foods that was really reasonably priced. And then on to the ice cream store "Vigo" which makes the best ice cream in the world.
