One of our favorite parts of our mission is interviewing members and hearing how they found the gospel and about their conversion. We also enjoy helping Sister Blake and Sister Campbell create "memes" to post on each country's Church Facebook page. We read through talks given by our church leaders in general conference looking for quotes that Perry calls "a sermon in a sentence." A quote that will uplift, inspire or teach. One of our young adults shared that when she was in high school and stressed she would go to the church website a find a daily quote that would be just what she needed that day.
This week we went on a drive up to a small ski resort above our city. It was about 6:30pm and it had rained earlier and the sun was now shining. We couldn't help take photos that we may possibly use with an inspirational quote for a meme. We're beginners at this!
